Who knew that your belief is the only thing you should be concerned about?!
If you’ve ever had the nagging feeling that something is missing in your healing journey—even after all the meditation, self-work, and spiritual practices—you’re not alone. One of the most common questions I hear as a mind training coach is:
“Why am I not healing or changing the way I expect to?”
It’s a painful and honest question. And it’s the exact reason I created this post.
Let’s go deeper.
The Truth Most People Miss About Healing
Many people I work with have done a lot of work. They’ve meditated for years. They’ve tried different modalities. They’ve invested in books, programs, and spiritual tools. But they still feel stuck, confused, frustrated, and mostly scared.
What they’re missing isn’t another technique. It’s not more content.
It’s a deeper understanding of what they actually believe – and how their thoughts are creating their lived experience.
What Do You Really Believe In?
Let’s talk about something I don’t often bring to the surface: your relationship with God, Mind, and belief.
You might have grown up being told what to believe. Maybe you were part of a church. Maybe you were raised atheist. Maybe your belief system was a mix of influences you never consciously chose.
And now you’re here, trying to heal. Trying to understand how your mind works. Wondering how all of this fits together.
But here’s the truth:
Everything starts with a thought.
It sounds simple, but it’s everything. Your thoughts create your beliefs, and your beliefs determine your experience. And if you want to change your experience, you must question what you believe.
The Illusion of Reality
You’ve probably heard the phrase, “You create your own reality.”
But what does that actually mean?
Are you really manifesting cars and people and houses out of thin air? That seems impossible, right?
And that’s because it is, at least in the way most people interpret it.
The real missing link is this:
Your reality isn’t being created outside of you – it’s projected through your mind, in your mind.
Your beliefs determine what you see.
Projection makes perception.
And that’s where mind training comes in.
The Mind Is the Only Power You Have
The more you train your mind, the more you realize: your power doesn’t come from the outside. It’s not found in the next healing modality or guru.
It’s found in your ability to notice what you think… and choose differently.
That’s the true foundation of what I teach in my mind training program HELPINGS.
In meditation, it’s easy to touch that space – where nothing and everything exists at once. Where love, not fear, is the truth. That’s the same space where your power lives.
And it’s the space that connects us all – beyond religious constructs or spiritual ideologies.
Let’s Talk About God (Yes, Really)
For most of my life, I couldn’t even say the word “God.”
It felt loaded, pretentious and…not me.
I was taught to believe in a God that was separate from me: watching me from above, judging me, waiting for me to atone for my sins before I could be worthy of love.
But none of that made sense.
How could an all-loving God create such pain, inequality, and sickness?
It wasn’t until I began questioning those beliefs that I found clarity.
Today, I believe that God is not something “out there.”
God is Mind.
God is unconditional love.
And love doesn’t judge, ever.
It doesn’t punish.
It doesn’t divide.
Love just is.
Healing Starts With Better Questions
I don’t want you to believe what I believe.
Instead: question your beliefs and where they come from.
I want you to ask yourself:
-
What do I believe about God, healing, and myself?
-
Are these beliefs helping me or hurting me?
-
What if I’ve been wrong about what’s possible?
Those questions matter more than any healing technique.
Because your beliefs are either supporting your healing or standing in its way.
If you can shift a belief, you can shift everything.
The Power of Mind Training
The mind isn’t a place. It’s not tangible. But it’s where everything happens.
When you learn how to use your mind consciously – through repetition, intention, and awareness – you begin to untangle yourself from the fear-based programming that’s been running your life.
That’s the work I do with my students inside my mind training coaching group.
I rarely teach meditation (though it is a very useful tool).
Instead, I focus on showing people how to deal with the mind all day long, because that’s when the ego sneaks in. That’s when old patterns resurface. That’s when your thoughts try to convince you that you’re powerless.
It’s Not About Adopting My Beliefs – It’s About Your Belief
This isn’t about swapping one belief system for another. It’s not about religion or agreeing with me.
It’s about waking up.
It’s about realizing you’re not here to suffer.
And it’s about understanding that if your thoughts are creating your reality…
then your healing starts with your willingness to change them.

Final Thought:
Your power doesn’t come from understanding the universe.
It comes from understanding your mind.
And the moment you become willing to question what you think is true, the whole world begins to shift.
Let that be the place you begin.
Key Takeaways:
-
Feeling stuck in your healing journey is often tied to unexamined beliefs, not a lack of effort or spiritual practice.
-
Your thoughts create your experience. If your beliefs stay the same, so does your reality.
-
Mind training is the missing link for many people who’ve tried meditation, manifestation, and mindset work without seeing change.
-
God is not outside of you. True healing begins when you let go of the belief in a judgmental or external God and reconnect to the unconditional love within.
-
Your mind is the most powerful tool you have. It shapes perception, emotion, and ultimately the course of your life.
-
Changing your life starts by asking better questions about what you believe and whether those beliefs are truly serving you.
-
You don’t need to adopt anyone else’s beliefs—but you do need to question your own if you want to heal and grow.
-
The ego is the real obstacle, not the surface-level problems you’re experiencing.
-
Mind training isn’t just about meditation. It’s a daily practice of rewiring thoughts, interrupting patterns, and choosing love over fear.
