19 Lessons about Mind Training For Healing

mind training for healing

In this blog post I’ll share 19 honest answers about mind training for healing along with weird, hidden talents to shocking student transformations. This is me, unfiltered, sharing both personal truths and the deeper lessons I’ve learned through mind training for healing.

Whether you’re new to mind training or already deep in the work, this post will show you what it really looks like behind the scenes – messy, miraculous, and full of insight.

What’s your most useless hidden talent?

I can drink almost boiling hot tea without burning my tongue. I’m not saying it’s useful. I’m just saying it’s impressive.

What scent instantly calms you?

Lavender oil. Every time. It’s like my nervous system exhales on contact.

What do you still struggle with? (Be real.)

Oh, how long do you have? One of my biggest struggles used to be sharing my story publicly—especially when I was still visibly healing.

I once stood on Dr. Joe Dispenza’s stage and shared what looked like a picture-perfect healing story. What most people didn’t see was the two years of intense inner work that followed. I didn’t feel “done,” and I definitely didn’t feel ready to be seen. I had eczema on my face and self-doubt in my mind.

But I kept going. Because I knew the mind was where my real healing would come from.

And here’s what I want you to know: no one is fully healed. We’re all still working through something. And in mind training for healing, that’s not a problem—it’s the path.

Secret obsession no one expects?

Decluttering. Hardcore. My mom once hid flamingo-themed birthday decorations in my apartment just to surprise me. I found them within 24 hours. Why? Because I know where everything lives. Cleaning my space is cleaning my mind.

What do most people get wrong about your story?

That I healed through meditation.
I didn’t.
I healed through mind training—with my eyes wide open.

Meditation is lovely. But it’s not what I teach. What I teach is how to change your mind during the day, in real-time, when your kids are screaming or your symptoms flare up or you’re spiraling into fear. That’s where the magic happens. That’s mind training for healing.

What’s always in your fridge?

Unsweetened almond milk, onions, garlic, a mountain of cheese, red wine, apples, lemons, and some sort of home-cooked leftovers.

What would you tell the 2019 version of you?

You have no idea how good it’s going to get. It will take longer than you want. It will be harder than you expect. But what’s waiting on the other side will blow your mind—and heal your life.

Guilty pleasure TV show?

I don’t believe in guilty pleasures. You either enjoy something or you don’t. No shame required.

But I did once binge a Netflix drama about a murder in the White House. Chef’s kiss. Can’t remember the name. But it was excellent.

Why do you believe this work can help others?

Because it already does. I get regular messages from past students who are still practicing this work, still thriving. And they often tell me, “I don’t need you anymore.”

And I love that. That’s the goal. I don’t want you to rely on me. I want to teach you how to listen to your own guidance. Because that’s what mind training for healing is all about.

Favorite childhood snack?

Boiled potatoes and carrots. No joke. I was allergic to everything else.

And yes, my dad worked in the candy industry. Life is funny like that.

What is mind training really?

Mind training is a way of being. It’s how you think. How you respond. How you focus. It’s not a technique. It’s a transformation.

It’s also not about “them”—not your partner, not your child, not your boss. It’s about you. And when you use your mind the way it was designed to be used? Miracles happen.

If you could have any superpower?

Flying. Reading minds sounds fun, until you realize how loud and negative most thoughts are.
No, thank you.

How long does it take to see results?

Sometimes weeks. Sometimes longer. It depends on what you’re measuring.

One of my students recently got very sick—and stayed totally calm. That’s transformation.

Another healed her pancreas. One healed brain fog. One watched her fingers shrink as swelling disappeared. These are physical results, yes. But they began with the mind. Always.

What’s the last song you had on repeat?

“Tubthumping” by Chumbawamba.

You know the one: I get knocked down, but I get up again…

It’s my personal anthem against the ego. I sing it to the part of my mind that wants me to stay small.

Why is consistency more important than intensity?

Because habits create results, not sprints.

You think up to 100,000 thoughts a day. You don’t need to change all of them at once. But you do need to be consistent about changing some of them every single day. That’s the foundation of mind training for healing.

And eventually, you don’t have to force it. It becomes your natural state.

So… what’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve Googled at 2AM?

Nothing.

My phone stays on the kitchen table, in airplane mode, every night. I don’t touch it until after meditation. You don’t need to Google anything in the middle of the night.

And if you’re doing that? That’s your mind calling out for help. Start there.

What’s one student transformation that shocked you?

So many. But a few stand out:

  • A woman whose fingers physically changed shape, allowing her to wear rings for the first time in years.

  • A client whose pancreas went from dysfunction to above average.

  • A woman who hadn’t eaten gluten or dairy for 30 years – and now does. Happily.

  • And countless people who say the best part of working with me wasn’t what healed—it’s how they feel when they wake up: calm, grateful, grounded.

That’s what mind training for healing really gives you. Not just a symptom fix. A whole new baseline.

What always makes you laugh?

A running duck. Seriously. Try not to laugh. I dare you.

Bonus points if they’re eating peas.

Will your course help with my eczema, allergies, pain, anxiety and any other symptom?

Yes.

Mind training works regardless of the symptom, because the problem isn’t the symptom. The problem is how you think about the symptom.

You’ve been trained to fear it, fight it, analyze it. But the real shift comes when you change the thought about it. That’s what changes the emotion. And that’s what eventually changes the body.

I’ve had clients heal symptoms I didn’t even know existed. Why? Because they changed their mind. And their body followed.

Can Mind Training Heal?

Whatever you’re struggling with – whether it’s anxiety, eczema, chronic fatigue, or just a deep sense that something isn’t working – I want you to know: you’re not broken. You’re just thinking thoughts that don’t serve you. And the good news? You can change them. And mind training ABSOLUTELY heals.

That’s what I teach. That’s what works. And that’s what’s possible for you too.
