I went for a walk this morning and saw a dozen flower delivery guys running around with lavish bouquets.
For a brief moment I thought “I wish I had…”. Then I paused and chose another thought: “I’m grateful for all the incredible people in my life“. That felt good.
Back at home, someone knocked on my door an hour later and handed over a stunning, white flower arrangement from my soulgal (what’s a female soulmate called?). Such an unexpected, lovely surprise!
Now I’ve just returned from seeing a friend, who was feeling a little stuck and panicky. We talked about the need to achieve and to hit targets. Ultimately it’s a matter of putting food on the table – hence the anxiety.
And so I told her:
What if you accepted that timing is perfect, even if it doesn’t appear that way?
That things are happening just as they are supposed to.
That you are capable and strong and courageous.
That you do everything with so much heart and soul.
That good things are coming.
That life has always sorted itself out and always, always will.
Trust it and trust yourself.
